About me
Hi,I'm aseel
I didn’t take the straight road to this work. Before I became a counsellor, I spent ten years leading teams across Kuwait and Saudi Arabia — coaching people through pressure, change, and the quietly human moments that happen inside organisations. I designed mental health programmes for frontline workers because I believed, long before I had the clinical language for it, that people carry far more than their job descriptions.
Then life asked me to learn what I had only observed.
What I believe
Counselling isn’t about fixing a person. It’s about creating enough space to look honestly at the patterns, the losses, the stories one has been carrying, and gently asking: does this still serve me?
In my work, I draw from several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method for couples, adapting the approach based on the person’s needs and goals.
